A small dictionary for the study sea · Pulse Beat
The few words One Peace uses on purpose, and what each one means.
We use a handful of sea words, and we use them the same way every time. That keeps the voice calm.
- the sea: the study season, the syllabus, the whole mess. Never 'the grind'.
- a piece: one page, one idea, one thing you understood. The unit of progress.
- the crew: your study friends, the people who explain things. Never 'followers'.
- the log: a short end-of-week note: what I understood. In Pulse, a MyPulse page.
- storm / thunder: notifications, panic, comparison. Name it so it shrinks.
- anchor: a five-minute pause. Allowed. Encouraged.
- compass: your next small step. Not a five-year plan.
- landfall: an exam, a deadline, an interview: the thing you are sailing towards.
- horizon: what comes after. Always a little bit exciting.
