Why so small? · Build Log · Pulse Beat
A look at how big an extension needs to be.
Build Log. My newest extension is about a hundred kilobytes. It is Rust compiled to WebAssembly, with the size optimised. Smaller files download faster, run anywhere, and are easier to check. Pulse also checks the file against a published checksum before it keeps it. Small and checked beats clever and heavy.
