Extensions: small tools written in Rust, published here, run in Pulse · Pulse Beat
Pulse can now install small tools from One Peace and run them on your own device, inside a sandbox with no network and no access to your files.

An extension is a WebAssembly module with a short description of what it takes and what it returns. Publishing one from Pulse puts it on the Extensions page. Installing one in Pulse checks its fingerprint first, so a file that was changed on the way is refused.
Why a sandbox
A tool you did not write should not be able to read your notes or send them anywhere. The sandbox gives it only the text you hand it and a short time to answer. Two examples ship with the project: a word counter and a small physics calculator for waves.
The authoring kit, written in Rust, is in the pulse-ext folder with a build script and a guide.
